Spring is almost here!  We’ve had a mild winter (so far) here in Oklahoma.  Weather is always a big deal in Oklahoma, we almost OBSESS over it, probably because it changes so much (well, and tornadoes, lol).  There’s already a damp spring richness to the air and we see daffodil tops coming up in our woods, so I think spring is on its way!  Hang in there if you haven’t seen signs...it’s definitely coming your way, too!  

I don’t know about you Pearl friends, but right after Christmas, I felt just kind of over heavy sweaters and dark colors and began to wish for some sunny days and styles.  Here at The Pearl Boutique, we are busy, busy, busy ordering spring inventory that we hope you will LOVE!  So far, spring shows and markets are showing trends with a lot of open weave warmer weather sweaters in spring colors, lots of sweet pink and we are seeing lots of tops, skirts and dresses with some flowy hems or sleeves—and camo and animal prints don’t show signs of going away with lots of cute prints and styles for warmer weather. 

One of our favorite things is a basic dress for spring and summer.  A lot of dresses can be dressed up with strappy heeled sandals or worn with sneakers and a jean jacket to dress them down for everyday.  We love a versatile dress, like our Be A Flirt dress that you could wear out to dinner with strappy sandals or wear to lunch, church or a farmer’s market!  I plan to wear it with a jean jacket, bucket hat and some suede flat mules I have until it gets warmer.  During vacay season, taking one or two things that will pull double duty makes it so much easier to pack!
